We all have guardian angels too, and these children were blessed to have guardian angels each with a purpose and strength to help them. In this book, Stilo and Rip are fighting to get humans to listen to their voices an act accordingly. That's the best way to describe this book. Remember when we were kids and on the cartoons you had a person trying to make a decision about something, and there the devil on one side and an angel on the other side of their shoulders. From the very beginning Bee captivates your attention and puts you right in the scene of two friends, but unbeknown to them, the spirit forces are watching.

This was a wonderfully told story about what happens in our daily lives, and how spirit creatures are behind the scenes watching our every moves, listening to what we say and do. Kirk for her debut novel! It was so refreshing to read something new and different from an African American author. She is the host of a radio talk show called "The Honey Hour" on, and contributing writer for Best Southwest Moms Blog. She worked for the Dallas County Sheriff's Department for four years as a Detention Service Officer, and while there came to appreciate the fragility of the unknown. She was born and raised in Camden, Arkansas and moved to Texas in 1996. Kirk is a thirty five year-old, married, mother of two.
